Konkon and Baby Jayden!!!!

Sooooooo sorry for the lack of post ... Have been busy with stuff lately ... Anyway ... I finally went to visit baby Jayden again!!!! Yeah!!!! Time really flies especially when you look at baby and see how much they have grown ... I look at Konkon everyday ... And I can still see that he is growing everyday (development wise) ... And looking back at his pictures makes me feel how much he has change! I don't even remember that baby in the picture! LOL ...

Same for baby Jayden! He has grown soooooo muuuccchhhh ... And getting better looking ... hehehehe .. Pictures time!

Konkon's dvds and our new house ...

Konkon's dvds just arrived on Sunday when me and Konkon was at church ... I didn't know that postman actually work on Sunday! LOL! I always thought that delivery was only done from Monday to Friday ... Postman's job is tough eh ... Low pay somemore (that's what I heard ... Plus high MC rate... haha). Anyway ... Luckily auntie and hubby was at home ... If not I would have missed the postman and I think I will have to go to the nearest post office or something to collect the dvds ...


So happy the dvds finally came ... I saw it on discount on the website ... And since Yanwen is in states... They did a favor by letting me send the items over to their place ... But I didn't expect the package to be so big ... LOL... So at the end of the day .. After some calculations ... I probably either save a little or about the same as buying in Singapore ... Lol ... But it's ok .. Once bitten twice shy ... Next time will ask Yanwen for advice first before buying or shipping anything over ... hehe ... Still happy to get the dvds though .. Cause it's for Konkon ... (=

SEE! So many! Kiasu mum! Hahaha ... 

Yanwen was nice to tell me that this thermo container was on sale ... She helped choose the Cars design for Konkon! So cute! Think Konkon likes it (though he doesn't know what is it) cause he keeps holding onto it ... 

Our new house is finally coming soon !!!!! Finally !!!! Waited for so long!!! Did our first appointment ... Everything went smooth (I hope)... Pray hard k ... We were so happy when we went for our first appointment ... Met up with hubby's relative who is a contractor ... Wanted to get some quotations regarding our house stuff ... And Konkon has to act busy ...

Hubby and I got to talk to the contractor ... So his cousin help us look after Konkon and decided to put Konkon into the sink ... hahahaha ...

Konkon is 10 months old!!!!

Konkon is 10 months old!!!! Time really flies !!!! Recently I was going through all of his photos and I can't believe time flies so fast and now he is 10 months old already! It seems only yesterday that he was tiny little baby ...

Today we went to Raffles City to meet hubby's friend AYC to get something from him ...

After which... We went over to the lawyer's place to settle some issue regarding our flat ...

Lift stuck at 11th storey! Hahahahah ... Luckily there was a security guard in the lift together with us ... And he asked for help!

Luckily for us .. The lift was only stuck for a few minutes ... Manage to got out at the 15th storey ... Don't ask me why is it the 15 storey ... Somehow the lift went up instead of going down ... AHAHAHAH ...

Tai Maobi!

We finally took the Tai Maobi! Took us long enough to go back to the shop to pass them Konkon's hair to make into Tai Maobi!!!!! And we booked the package since last year November? Boy are we lazy parents! HHAHAHAHAHHA !!!! Anyway ... The Tai Maobi is finally done!


Konkon was born with a lot of hair ... So we had more than enough to make one Tai Maobi ... The person even return us some hair! HAHAHAHAHAH !!!

Konkon goes swimming and ktv ...

Konkon went swimming and ktv! It has been a rather slow and boring week ... We decided to bring Konkon for swimming at Nex mall after seeing how he enjoys his bath time ... Nex has got this baby spa at the room top level ... They have quite a lot of branches .. Always see baby swimming from outside ... Now it's Konkon's turn to try it out ... Hehehehe ...

First time swimming ... So can only swim for 20mins ... During the last part of the swimming session .. The lady decided to change him a neck float to see if he enjoys better ... But he super dislike the neck float .. He super hates anything that will restrict him ...

Mummy is in a ktv mood during the weekends ... Went ktv with Johnny and Dacialyn ... Wanted to make sure Konkon has enough rest before I went to the ktv ... But he decides to skip his nap ... And bring it over to ktv instead ....

Fell asleep shortly after we started singing ... 

Woke up and decided to sing ... Paiseh face ... Hahaha .. 

I guess that means enough of singing ... 

I have been updating pretty slowly lately because I have been staying at home most of the time ... Trying to set up for routine for Konkon even though I feel I should have done it earlier ... The thing is I don't wanna force anything in him ... He actually set up his own routine ... He will get cranky before morning and afternoon nap and then later in the evening ... But recently cause of the change of environment ... He is all messed up again ... Hai ... And also he has been falling sick ... Flu and all ... Causing him to feel irritated easily and also can't sleep well at night cause he can't breathe ... 

Mummy has been busy with something lately ... Hopefully things will get done soon ... And hope it will turn out nice ... =p

Mummy cooks porridge for Konkon

Konkon has been fully breastfed since he was born ... He started solids when he was 3 months old ... A lot of people might think it is a bit too early to start ... I was also thinking of starting his solids when he is maybe 5 or 6 months old ... But Konkon is a very smart little boy ... He knows what's food when he was able to see ... He knows that daddy and mummy is eating something call food ... And he wants to eat too ... So when he was 3 months old ... He begins to go on strike occasionally on the breast ... Or taking just a little at a time ... I begin to worry that he might not have enough to eat ... So my mother suggested me to start solids for him ... And true enough ... He wanted to have something other than milk ... I started baby cereal for him ..  It was hard initially because he is a very gan jiong boy ... He wants everything chop chop fast fast ... Drink milk also drink very fast ... But eating is different ... It's not like milk that goes continuously into his mouth ... He cries everytime we gave him his solids because he feeding with a spoon is much slower than drinking milk .. But luckily, he managed to understand eating is different after a few days ...

Even though Konkon started his solids early ... He still grew very fussy with food ... He is very particular with what goes into his mouth ... And whenever we are outside ... We try to experiment him with new food .. By 6 months ... We decided to move on to porridge ... I rarely cook and home and also we are out most of the time ... Therefore.. we normally buy porridge from outside to feed him ... And we realized that he doesn't take all porridge ... We have narrowed it down to these few porridge that he would take: changi village porridge, crystal jade porridge and the porridge from Nex food court ... All these porridge are really delicious! Others that we bought ... He will refuse it ... High standard sia Konkon!

I have tried to cook porridge for konkon many times ... And everytime he rejected it ... He just doesn't like the taste of it because home cook food are normally not as strong flavored as outside food ...  But a mom doesn't give up!

And one day ... MUMMY SUCCEED!

Yes .. It finally pays off ... The porridge is sweet and also soft enough for Konkon to eat ... And he takes it!

Mummy!!!! I want to eat porridge!!!!

Gonna add some puree once Konkon get used to eating porridge as he still prefers to eat baby cereal sometimes ...
